The professional ice hockey team based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is the top affiliate of the NHL’s New York Islanders.
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers emblem depicts the club’s mascot Storm, an anthropomorphic blue tiger. His mouth is open, and he is showing his sharp white teeth in an extremely menacing manner.
The Sound Tigers have been using the same logo since 2001, but the color scheme has been updated twice.
The original blue and black tiger with yellow eyes was replaced by an orange and blue one in 2006.
In 2010, the colors of blue and orange were brightened.
In addition to the three colors of the official palette, blue, orange, and white, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers logo also features silver.
