The Algodoneros de Union Laguna logo looks somewhat unusual for a baseball team – its design is very strict and dark.
The baseball franchise Algodoneros de Unión Laguna is part of the Mexican League and plays on the Triple-A level.
From 2003 to 2016, the team played under the name of the Vaqueros Laguna, which means “Laguna Cowboys.” The Laguna Vaqueros logo of that era featured a large orange “L” with the name of the team in smaller letters on the forefront.
In 2017, the team was renamed Vaqueros Unión Laguna, while a year later, upon returning to its home city, the franchise was named Algodoneros de Unión Laguna. The design of the roundel logo has been inspired by the local Estadio de la Revolución, the team’s ballpark.
