What is Air Malta?
Air Malta is the national airline of Malta, serving as the primary carrier for the country. It offers domestic and international flights to various destinations, connecting Malta with Europe and other parts of the world. Known for its reliable service and commitment to passenger satisfaction, Air Malta is a key player in the aviation industry, providing convenient travel options for both business and leisure travelers.
The first logo of AirMalta featured a bold and stable composition with uppercase lettering in blue and red, followed by a square red and blue emblem with a white Maltese Cross on it. The emblem was set in the same size as the characters of the inscription, which made the badge look very well-balanced.
The redesign has made red the main color of the logo. The emblem with the Maltese Cross was now placed above the lettering, getting three blue stripes underlining it. As for the inscription, it was set in set, with the uppercase characters executed in a bold serif typeface.
In 2000 the logo of the air carrier was modernized and redrawn in a dark shade of red against a plain white background. The Maltese cross was now set in red on the left from the lowercase lettering in a cool sans-serif typeface with softened contours of the characters.
In 2012 the Maltese air carrier introduced a completely different logo, with white lettering and an enlarged emblem written against a red airplane wing, with several colorful stripes framing it. The logo looks very bright and modern.
