What is Xiamen Airlines?
Xiamen Airlines is a Chinese airline based in Xiamen, Fujian Province. It is a subsidiary of China Southern Airlines and operates both domestic and international flights. With a focus on safety, quality service, and customer satisfaction, Xiamen Airlines has established itself as one of China’s leading airlines, providing convenient travel options for passengers across Asia and beyond.
The original Xiamen Airlines logo, designed in 1984, featured a composition of a graphical emblem and lettering in two languages. The emblem depicted a stylized white bird on a solid blue roundel. As for the lettering, it was written in two levels using a dark shade of blue, with the Chinese inscription placed above the English one.
The redesign of 2012 has strengthened the contours of all elements on the Xiamen Airlines, making the whole image look minimalistic and stylish. The bird from the previous version got redrawn in blue and placed on a flat white background above the uppercase inscription, set in two languages and one line.
