2002 – Today

Both the old and the current Southern Utah Thunderbirds logo feature a bird, yet there are quite a few differences between them.

On the old emblem, you can see an angled view of the eagle’s head with a lightning bold below. The lettering “SUU” in red is going across the middle of the design. The old emblem has more colors: in addition to red, white, and black (which can be seen on the current logo), there is also gold used for the beak.

2019 – Today

On the 2019 logo version, the beak is white, there is no lettering, while the lightning bold turned by 90 degrees.
