The nickname “Seattle Redhawks” refers to both men’s and women’s team representing Seattle University of Seattle, Washington.
Taking into consideration the name of the athletic program, you can expect to see a hawk of some kind on the emblem. And yet, the Seattle Redhawks logo has been a typographic one since at least 2008. Back then, the teams’ primary emblem featured the lettering “SeattleU” in large letters. The word was broken down into two parts with the help of color.
The current version sports the interlocking letters “S” and “U.” The “S” is in red, while the “U” is in black. Both the letters have a black and white trim.
