The patriotic theme has been present on the athletic logo of Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, for at least three and a half decades.

The old Robert Morris Colonials logo adopted in 1985 featured the large letters “R,” “M,” and “C” with seven five-pointed stars arched above them.
In 2002, the school adopted a logo where the letters “RMU” were in the limelight. The word “Colonials” in smaller letters could be seen below.
Eventually, in 2006, the current emblem was introduced. Here, you can see a stylized men’s face. The man is wearing a dark blue hat with red trim. The text “Robert Morris” in large letters can be seen below.
The 2020 logotype depicts acronym of the university with the same font as it was previously. The image of a man’s head was removed.
