What is NFLPA Collegiate Bowl?
NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is the intercollegiate football bowl game, affiliated with the National Football League Players Association. The first game of the Bowl was held in 2012, and since then it is played annually at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.
The basic structural element of the 2019 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl logo is a shield with a thick black outline. Across the shield, goes the red line housing the word “Collegiate” in white. The acronym “NFLPA” and a pictogram featuring a stylized player can be seen above, while the word “Bowl” is placed below. Both words are given in black.
While the previous logos also featured a shield shape and the player, many other details looked completely different.
The current NFLPA Collegiate Bowl logo features a bright and delightful white and red color palette with the thick red framing of the classic Crest, where the slightly arched solid red ribbon with a white “Collegiate” lettering in all capitals of a modern sans-serif font was placed in the center, separating the light gray “NFLPA” in small caps from the regular-sized “Bowl” in the same shade of gray. The crest was decorated by the emblem of the Bowl on top — a solid red square with a contoured white drawing of a football player running with a ball in his hands.
