NCAAA Logo PNG

NCAAA is an abbreviation standing for National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, a governmental educational organization in Saudi Arabia, which was established in 2004.

Meaning and history

Since NCAAA is a pretty young organization, there have not been many visual identity redesigns. Also, it was important to maintain a serious reputation and to represent the fundamental values, such as education, development, and improvement, the qualities, which the institution tried to depict in its modest and professional badge.

2004 – Today

The NCAAA logo is composed of a colorful geometric emblem in a green palette, with a delicate gray inscription in two languages, Arabic and English. The graphical part of the logo depicts a stylized enlarged “Tick” sign, formed by 49 solid squares in three shades of green.

As for the lettering, it is set on the upper part of the logo, between the diagonal bars of the emblem, with the emboldened and enlarged Arabic version set above a delicate and thin uppercase “NCAAA” inscription in a simple and laconic sans-serif typeface with clean lines and contours.

The green color palette of the organization’s visual identity is a legacy of Education and attaining Evaluation Commission, the mother institution, which has four sun-institutions under its wing, including the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment. The logos of all four institutions are executed in the shades of the main concept: green, blue, or purple, with some lighter or darker shades, like turquoise or miss green.

Green is a symbol of growth and development, the color, which is most often used by the education-connected companies and organizations, along with blue. As for the gray wordmark, it adds a sense of serious approach, professionalism, and stability.
