NCCAA was established in 1968 in order to represent Christian universities and colleges in sports activities in The United States. The association’s teams compete in basketball, football, golf, soccer, volleyball and many others. There are men teams and women teams in the NCCAA.
The organization has been established in 1968, mostly as a cooperation project between various college athletic branches. The goal of this institution is to promote aspiring athletes, which explains the name choice. They’ve been using it ever since the founding back in the 60s.
While the National Christian College Athletic Association logo is based on an abbreviation, it also comprises pictorial elements.
The focal point of the emblem is the lettering ‘NCCAA’ in dark blue. The wordmark features a simple sans serif typeface. The letters are italicized and stand rather close to each other. The abbreviation is placed between two white horizontal lines with black outlines. There’re three stars in the op right corner of the NCCAA logo.
Although the old logo has been in use for 55 years, it looked still looked great. Nonetheless, the association has decided to create a new emblem. It had a bold dark blue and white color palette with just a little addition of a lighter blue. The initials featured bold, geometric font of white color. there were placed on a dark blue rectangular background that followed the shape of the letters at the top. The bottom portion was extended slightly lower and had a lighter blue strip underlining the inscription. The logo turned out to look powerful and reflected the stable position of the organization.
