McCormick is the name of the American food company, which was established at the end of the 1880s and today is one of the biggest on the market of spices and condiments. The Fortune100 company has hundreds of products in its catalog and distributed all the items across the globe.
The visual identity of the American corporation is based on the traditional approach and classic national colors — blue, red, and white. The McCormick emblem is in-stantly recognizable across the world and is sometimes complemented by a logotype, placed under it.
The emblem is composed of just two letters — “M” and “C”, executed in a custom bold Gothic-style font, with “M” enlarged and “C” placed under its cut right vertical bar. The blue and red monogram is usually enclosed in a thin square frame, but can also be seen without any additions, simply on a white background.
Then the logotype is used, it is placed on a red ribbon under the square and written in an elegant typeface with sharp serifs and sleek smooth lines.
The McCormick logo represents the excellence and authority of a reputable food company, showing the high quality of its products and its fundamental approach to the production process.
