Justice League is the name of a popular movie, based on DC Comics and first released in 2017. The second part of the franchise called Zack Snyder’s Justice League was filmed in 2021 by the famous director, Zack Snyder.

Meaning and history

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the long-awaited sequel to the feature-length adventure film about the struggle of the invincible team of the audience’s favorite superheroes against the world’s evil.

The viewer will once again see the inimitable characters of the DC universe on the screen. Clark Kent, aka Superman, is a tireless fighter for justice in the famous cape. Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman – a beautiful warrior, an Amazon with an indestructible shield. Barry Allen, or Flash, an elusive young man with inhuman speed. Aquaman, or Arthur Curry, an Atlantean descendant endowed with the power of the ocean lords. Victor Stone, known as Cyborg, a man with a cybernetically enhanced body. And, of course, Bruce Wayne – the famous Batman, the billionaire in the black cape.

2017

The logo of both parts of the Justice League is based on the lettering and a bold yet simple crest-like emblem, with a thick framing and the triangular bottom part, and a stylized “JL” monogram in the middle. The main thing about the monogram is the cuts in the middle of the vertical bars of both letters, which form a five-pointed star in the negative space.

The star has always been a symbol of power and miracle, and the DC franchise about superheroes is definitely all about power, and unexplainable abilities.

As for the color palette, it varies depending on the needs and the background, but the official version of the logo is drawn in thick white lines and placed on a gradient cold blue and gray background. This calm combination of shades evokes a mysterious sense and elevates the idea of the movie.

2021

For the 2021 Zack Snyder’s Justice League, they used the same emblem. This version, however, was solely black-and-white. They also added the movie’s trademark in thin sans-serif letters above the main emblem. There were three lines, and the director’s name occupied two of them.
