1957 – 1994

The first JAT Airways logo, designed at the end of the 1950s, was bright and bold. The badge featured a solid red oval, set horizontally, and stylized white lettering written over it. The inscription was set in a slanted geometric sans-serif typeface with distinctive contours of the characters.

1994 – 2003

The redesign of 1994 introduced a completely different composition of the air carrier’s badge. It was a two-leveled inscription with the bold blue “JAT” underlined by a delicate gray “Yugoslav Airlines”, and followed by a blue and red emblem, boasting a triangular shape with a flame-like ornament on it.

2003 – 2013

The last JAT Airways logo was designed in 2003 and comprised a narrowed sans-serif lettering in red and blue, followed by a minimalistic graphical emblem. The emblem was formed by three enlarged solid dots — two blue on the sides, and a red one in the center.
