Grundfos Logo PNG

Grundfos is one of the world’s most famous pump manufacturing companies, founded by Poul Due Jensen in 1945 in Denmark. The brand also develops and generates electro-controlling systems for their pumps. Grundfos operates all over the globe and is one of the leaders in its industry.

Meaning and history

The Grundfos visual identity looks simple and professional. Composed of a wordmark and an emblem on its right, the logo features a calm blue color, which evokes a sense of confidence and stability.

Old

The old Grundfos badge was composed of an extra-heavy uppercase logotype in a bright shade of blue, set in a modern geometric sans-serif typeface, and accompanied by a solid blue square, set on its right. The square was set in the same shade of blue as the inscription.

Today

The Grundfos nameplate in all the capitals is executed in a bold and slightly extended sans-serif typeface which looks solid and strong. All the letter lines are traditional and neat, except for the open contour of the “R” and diagonal edges of the horizontal bars of “F”.

The Grundfos emblem, placed on the right of the lettering, is an abstract figure, which resembles of two crossing orbits, forming kind of an X-shape with its curved lines.

The Grundfos’ visual identity is powerful in its modesty and simplicity. The wordmark is confident and strong and evokes a sense of reliability and protection.

The blue and white color combination of the logo represents the stable and professional company, which values quality and technology above all.
