Meaning and history

In 1969, Fuzhou Auto Works launched in Fuzhou, China, initially crafting commercial vehicles. The ’70s saw their expansion into commercial vehicle manufacturing, followed by SUVs in the ’80s. By 1989, they were celebrating the debut of their inaugural passenger car under the Fuqi brand. Post-2000, Fuqi engaged in a significant partnership with Hebei Zhongxing Automobile, leading to a rebrand as Jiangxi Huaxiang Fuqi Automobile, marking a new chapter in their history.
