Fireball is the name of a whiskey brand, created in Canada in 1984. The beverage is known for its Cinnamon taste and is very popular in North America. Today the Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey can be found in many other countries too.

Meaning and history

There are not many “one of a kind” products in the overloaded today’s market, but Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey is definitely one of those. Known for its distinctive cinnamon taste, this beverage is sweeter and more warming than traditional whiskeys.

What is Fireball?
Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey is a Canadian beverage brand, founded in the middle of the 1980s. The whiskey is known for its Cinnamon flavor, which adds more “warmth”.

In terms of visual identity, Fireball has been very conservative, and never changed the logo, created for the brand at the very beginning of its history, in 1984. And, to be honest, there is no need for it, as the dark red badge is instantly recognizable and associated with the cinnamon taste.

1984 – Today

The Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey logo designed in 1984 is composed of a graphical element set between two lines of lettering. All parts of the badge are executed in one dark red color palette and are usually set on a white background, which creates a strong contrast.

The main part of the logo depicts a mythological creature with a dragon’s head and a thin long tail. The dragon has a fireball coming out of its mouth, and the hair is drawn and flames.

The image is covered by a bold arched “Fireball” inscription set in the uppercase of a stylized geometric serif typeface, with the letters slightly narrowed and the contours — straight and clean. As for the bottom line of the badge, it features the “Whisky” inscription in the same style and typeface but written in a smaller size in a straight horizontal line.

On the sides of the fire creation, there are “Red” and “Hot” letterings, written in a wide modern sans-serif font.
