Old

Nowadays the old Finnish Air Force logo can definitely be called scandalous, as the main element, placed in the center of the badge, is a golden swastika. The image is outlined in black and enclosed into a circle with two enlarged golden wings spread up and to the sides.

New

The redesign has brought a more traditional, even heraldic, look to the Finnish Air Force badge. It is now composed of a solid blue roundel with a golden eagle over it, enclosed into an ornate black and white frame with an elegant crown on top. The logo looks very royal and sophisticated, at the same time evoking a sense of power with its central part.
