Their legacy is marked by significant achievements and ongoing commitment to athletic and academic excellence.

1991 – 2001

The previous Fairfield Stags logo, which was introduced in advance of the 1991 season, included a large letter “U” in red with a stag’s head on the forefront. The word “Fairfield, also in red, could be seen above, while the word “Stags” in a creative typeface was placed below the emblem. The second word looked more prominent due to the choice of font and size.

2002 – Today

In 2002, a different logo appeared. While it also sported a stag’s head, it was now facing to the right. Horizontal strokes helped to create a dynamic style. The lettering was different, too.

Later, the university slightly altered the shade of red making it somewhat brighter. In spite of this update, the overall style of the emblem, as well as the typeface, remained the same.

The Visual Identity Guide published in the summer of 2017 mentions two official colors: red (Pantone 186, RGB: 224; 58; 62) and black (Pantone Black, RGB: 35, 31, 32). Both of the colors are featured on the primary Fairfield Stags logo, where they are paired with white (for the background). The “F” emblem (secondary logo) also uses grey (for the shade).
