Elden Ring is a third-person action-adventure RPG Soulsborne in the world of dark fantasy from the creators of the Dark Souls series with the participation of the author of “Game of Thrones”. It centers on a dying world where only warriors who have lost their blessing are trying to bring it back to life.
The scenario of the game revolves around the Ring of Elden, which was broken into shards that were delivered to the demigods. This caused the Shattering, a massive war, and the player, in the role of Tarnished, must travel to the tainted lands to reassemble the pieces of the Ring. The story and most of the characters are created by recognized fantasy master George R. R. Martin, author of the great A Song of Ice and Fire, the series of books that inspired the acclaimed TV series Game of Thrones.
Elden Ring’s narrative took a step forward from past Souls games: a well-written, albeit confusing, plot, varied and very long quests from NPCs, more substance in dialogs, and improved staging of cut-scenes.
There are 8 different classes with 8 characteristics and a roster of suitable weapons and armor. The choice of class affects only the first hours, further, you can develop your character as you wish under the desired style of play.
A huge open world with the ability to move between locations on horseback, a deep combat system, and numerous enemies – dangerous and deadly – await players. Like the Souls series, Elden Ring gives players a rich choice of weapons and spells, as well as the opportunity to play the game in co-op with friends.
The plot of Elden Ring is predominantly covered in “Miyazaki fog”. Hidetaka Miyazaki is the head of From Software and a man who prefers the gamer to assemble the story himself, pieced together from all parts of the world. Nevertheless, Elden Ring does have a plot. The gamer, after all, needs to know what’s even going on in From Software’s next damn world.
What is Elden Ring?
Elden Ring is the name of an adventure role-playing game from From Software (Dark Souls) and writer George R. R. R. Martin (“A Song of Ice and Fire”), whose events unfold in a world inspired by Scandinavian mythology. The location of the game is the Lands Between. Elden Ring was released in February 2022.
In terms of visual identity, Elden Ring is very classy and elegant. The official logo of the video game is based on customized golden lettering, which can be placed against different backgrounds (from white to black), and is usually accompanied by the graphical characters of the game.
The Elden Ring logo was designed by February 25, 2022, the official release of the game. It is a confident yet fine uppercase serif lettering with slightly elongated sharp serifs, and the first and last lettering of the inscription is slightly enlarged, making up a frame for the whole logotype. The primary version of the logo uses gradient gold shades for its characters, and a transparent white background, while the secondary version is executed in plain black and white.
The elegant uppercase inscription from the primary logo of the Elden Ring video game is based on a fancy classic serif typeface, which looks pretty close to such fonts as Venetian 301 Std Bold, ITC Legacy Serif Std Medium, or Life Small Caps Regular, with some minor modifications.
As for the color palette of Eden along visual identity, it is based on a Royal and chic combination of gold and white, a very elegant mix of shades, which brilliantly suit the use and essence of the game.
