Among the variety of icons in the standard Unicode set there are images of objects and subjects that are extremely difficult to interpret in different ways, and which are used in correspondence and posts in social networks much less often than emoticons that represent emotions or actions. However, if such pictures exist, it means that someone needs it. And today weβre going to talk about a group of one such emoji, the Car Emoji.
π The Car emoji was assigned the code U+1F697, with which it was added to the Places and Travel section of the Unicode 6.0 standard in 2010.

ποΈ The Racing Car emoji has been assigned the code U+1F3CE U+FE0F, with which it was added to the Places and Travel section of the Unicode 7.0 standard in 2014.
The meaning of each icon in this category is clear, but letβs take a closer look at each emoji and note their differences.
π The first emoji that the system produces for the word βCarβ. It is a small red car, reminiscent of urban microcars. The auto is depicted from the side, and is heading to the left.
π The same red car from the previous emoticon, only its frontal view. On this emoji, the car looks somehow more solid and βmonumentalβ.
π This blue car is officially called βJeepβ, although it looks no less miniature than the red car from the first emoji.
π» The obvious thing here is the blue and green pickup truck pictured on the side and heading to the left side.
ποΈ And this is a more serious version of the auto, a race car. And of course, racing cars are first of all always associated with the color red.
As for the meaning of emoji from this group, there are no surprises here either. Usually pictures of cars mean a specific car, so it is difficult to make a mistake here. However, it is also often possible to meet emoji with the image of cars when someone is on the road, even if not in a car. Also, pictures of autos depicted on the side can simply signify movement or direction.
Sometimes itβs not the car that comes to the forefront, but its color. So red is speed, passion, adrenaline rush, and blue, on the contrary, is calmness and stability.
So, as we said above, there were no surprises today. Emoji with the image of who means either the car itself, or a car ride, or basically a trip. They can mean motion, movement, or just direction (in the case of the standard Unicode emoji, the direction is still left or front).
