What is Bulgaria Air?
Bulgaria Air is the national flag carrier airline of Bulgaria. It operates both domestic and international flights to various destinations across Europe, Asia, and Africa. With its main hub at Sofia Airport, Bulgaria Air offers a range of services, including passenger transportation, cargo transport, and charter flights. The airline focuses on providing reliable and comfortable air travel options, contributing to the connectivity and accessibility of Bulgaria to the global aviation network.
The original Bulgaria Air logo was set in a color palette of the national flag of Bulgaria, with red and green elements set on a white background. It was a slanted uppercase lettering in two shades, executed in a traditional sans-serif typeface and set on the left from an abstract geometric emblem, drawn in thick red and green lines.
The redesign of 2006 has changed the typeface of the wordmark to an elegant serif one, with bold bars and triangular serifs, added a small black tagline with the website address, and made the contours of the geometric emblem smoother, and the green shade gained some gradients.
In 2010 the Bulgaria Air logo was significantly redesigned, with the color palette switched to gray, red, and green. The lettering, which is now set in light gray, features a bold modern sans-serif typeface with softened elements, while the new emblem looks like three ribbons, forming up an elegant wing.
