The distinctive part of the vPorn logo is the customized “play button” sign. As the “play button” is pretty popular in logotypes of video streaming services (YouTube, for instance), it can seem like the most obvious choice.
And yet, the author of the vPorn emblem managed to give it a unique touch and connect it with the name of the project. The designer rotated the triangle so that it now stands on one of its angles. In this way, it reminds the letter “v,” the initial of the website name.
The similarity of the white triangle with the letter “v” isn’t close enough to have let the designer replace the letter with the icon. So, the sign is followed by the word “vPorn,” which is given in white capitals placed extremely close to each other.
