Xiaomi is expected to present a new version of its Android-like OS MIUI shortly. In anticipation of the release, the Chinese manufacturer has already shared some details about MIUI 13 including a logo which can be considered as an official announcement of the operating system.
As Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun stated last month, smartphones with the new MIUI version will be available before the end of the year. Indeed, everything points out that the company will likely present MIUI 13 on December 28th.
The Xiaomiui web community has recently published the MIUI 13 logo as well as three videos demonstrating some new functions of the system software update. The emblem continues with the style of the MIUI 12 logo with abstract figures and gradient coloring. With it, warm colors – yellow and orange – prevail, compared to the previous version’s cold gamma while the wordmark retains MIUI’s traditional typeface.
As for the technological part, MIUI 13 will offer a new feature called Infinity Scroll. It returns to the top page when you come to the end of the page. Also, the manufacturer added the Sidebar which can contain shortcuts of your favorite apps. Another new function is the Small Widgets which represents a sliding screen with widgets.
