Walt Disney Imagineering released new logo

On the 12th of November the Imagineering department unveiled its new logo along with the updated website. These renovations devoted to the remarkable event, long awaited by users in the US, the launch of Disney+, new streaming service of the Walt Disney Company. Now subscribers of the service will be able to enjoy both the old favourite Disney Channel shows and newly released movies, shows and documentaries, including “The Imagineering Story”, the most expected thing among other content.

The Imagineering Story, a six-part docuseries, which tells the history of the Walt Disney Imagineering department and gives fans an insight into Imagineers work, sharing how they create the Disney magic for viewers and Disneyland guests. The Imagineering Story covers behind-the-scenes details of the attractions preparation process for theme parks and developing new lands.

 

As for the department brand new logo, it has no any animated characters, unlike the previous versions, and its design looks very simple and delicate, featuring the signature of the company founder, Walt Disney, and sparkling blue stars. The typeface is also changed, presented in white lettering on the grey background. Combining iconic and modern traits, the logo reflects the Disney company past, realised in contemporary style.

 

With the launch of Disney+ streaming network its subscribers can expect many other exciting changes as well as upcoming thrilling movies, shows and documentary films.
