Skype new logo returns to its iconic blue color

Microsoft officially revealed the Skype new logo this Wednesday. The popular client logo has been redesigned for a few times already, so the last change is not a big and bold event.

Bright colours are typical for Office services icons, Skype is not an exception. Its new emblem gets a bright colour too, only the renovated variant is of a lighter tone, closer to the classic Skype blue colour.

The Skype logo updating is a part of the general logo design refresh of the Office 365 services. In renewed designs, as Microsoft team says, they tried to pay homage to heritage and be open to the future development. And according to the Skype team, the mission of the famous client remained unchanged.
