FaZe Clan unveils a logo for its 2020 Call of Duty League team

While Activision is launching its Call of Duty League, we learn more and more about the teams that will take part in the opening 2020 CDL season. Recently, FaZe Clan from Atlanta has unveiled a new logo for its CoD team.

Based as a gaming clan on YouTube, FaZe Clan eventually turned into an organization well-known in the esports world due to its CS:GO and CoD teams. For the 2020 CDL tournaments, it is partnering with Atlanta Esports Venture that belongs to Cox Enterprises and Province, Inc. owning a team in the Overwatch League.
As for the FaZe Clan CDL team’s new logo, it features the parent organization’s white-red-black color scheme. The “A” and “F” stylized accordingly to FaZe Clan’s logo design refer to the team’s name – Atlanta FaZe. The creator of the logotype, Tommy “Temperrr” Oliveira who is a co-founder of FaZe Clan, says that in the design, he wanted to reflect AEV’s confident commitment to supporting esports in Atlanta as well as the city’s rich traditions.
According to Lee Trink, the esports organization’s chief executive, FaZe Atlanta’s participation in the 2020 Call of Duty League is a good opportunity for Faze Clan to showcase its rich heritage in the cybersports culture.
