This version was drawn before the channel was launched. It features the abbreviated name in lowercase letters with a basic house shape behind it. The designer split the house in half by color and used contrasting colors for the lettering. The abbreviation was further divided using two different font styles. This part was underlined using a red line and had the full name printed underneath. It featured a relatively small serif font of a light green color, which made the inscription resemble the green grass in front of the house.

The actual logo used by the channel for many years after its foundation featured two shades of blue, vivid green, and white color palette. It had a bolder, geometrical design with all the characters being capitalized. The “H” and “G” were placed on contrasting squares with a green roof uniting the two.  They were done using a bold, sans-serif font. For the “TV” part, the designer used a finer serif font and green color that went with the roof. The full name was also added at the bottom. It was done using a font similar to the one used for “HG” characters. The overall look is simple and clean. It does a good job reflecting the channel’s focus on home improvement and gardening.

A modern, minimalistic design was presented in 2010. It features just the initials of the channel. The designer had the whole inscription done using the same font, which was featured in the earlier version. The clean, thick strokes make it look stylish and contemporary. The room now spans slightly further than the first two characters, covering about half of the “T”. Similarly to the earlier version, the last two characters are connected at the top, separating the “TV” part from the letters that stand for the channel’s theme.
