Hawkeye, unlike many other superheroes, does not possess superhuman powers but relies on his training and athleticism. Clint Barton (his real name) was raised in a circus environment, where he learned archery and acrobatics. In 2011, during an attack on New York, Hawkeye casually saves five-year-old Katie Bishop. The girl decides to become like her hero. Ten years pass. In the new series, the grown-up Kate, who has been collecting medals in archery, fencing, and martial arts competitions by the dozen, encounters real criminals, and then her idol. This is a new heroine from the Marvel Cinematic Universe who becomes a magnet for trouble and also the savior of a golden retriever. This is when the young archer has to work with her hero.
Meaning and History
Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Don Heck, Hawkeye’s character first appeared in “Tales of Suspense” #57 in 1964. he is most famously portrayed by Jeremy Renner in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He made his first appearance in “Thor” (2011) and has since appeared in other MCU films, including “The Avengers,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” and “Avengers: Endgame.” In 2021, he starred in his own Disney+ series titled “Hawkeye.” The story of Clint Barton was originally planned to be filmed in the format of a full-length film. This changed when the head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige decided that a mini-series for the Disney+ streaming platform would reveal the adventures of Hawkeye much more successfully.

2011 – Today
The logo showcases a stylized representation of a target or bullseye as the base. It is a nod to Hawkeye’s exceptional marksmanship skills. The target is done in black and has a purple target circle. In the center, there is the fletching of the arrow. It has a very simple, solid geometric shape and purple color. At the very bottom, there is a small “Marvel Channel” logo, which gives the design a more recognizable appearance. There is no series name, though, so the logo turned out like a badge that is worn by the heroes.
2021 – Today
The logo for the second “Hawkeye” series features a minimalist design that prominently incorporates the iconic bow and arrow motif associated with the character Hawkeye. This time, though, it also represents a new hero. The new design features multiple thin target rings of a black color with a purple one in the very center. The word “Hawkeye” is printed across horizontally. It features a bright yellow color and all lowercase, sans-serif characters. The first letter is stylized with an arrow at the top of the vertical strokes, while the “a” is placed right in the center of the target base. Across the top, there is a Marvel Studios logo. Overall, the logo conveys a sense of action and precision, aligning with the theme of the series.
Font and Color
The 2011 color palette includes shades of purple, reflecting the character’s comic book origins and costume. For the 2021 logo, they added a vivid yellow as well as dark gray. The new color palette turned out to be eye-catching and energetic. In both logos, there is also a red, black, and white Marvel logo.
The 2021 logo’s typography is clean and modern, emphasizing the series’ contemporary take on the character. The characters are evenly spaced, and the overall look is sleek and contemporary. The font resembles Rounded Elegance Regular font.
