Crest is the name of the oral healthcare products and accessories brand, which was established in the 1950s in Europe. Since the end of the 1980s, the brand is owned by Procter & Gamble Group and is distributed all over the world.

The visual identity of the world’s family the oral care brand is fresh and bright. Its classic color palette and bold lettering perfectly balanced each other and make the logo look strong and professional, evoking a sense of trustworthiness and authority.
The blue, red, and white logotype is instantly recognizable across the globe and is synonymous with freshness and white smile. The inscription in bold and elegant sans-serif typeface has been last redesigned in 2014 and still based on the original logo concept, created by Donald Deskey.
The inscription has its first capitalized “C” drawn in red, while all the other letters in the lowercase feature a rich blue color. When placed on a bright or dark background, the wordmark gains a thick white outline, which makes the logotype distinct and visible.
Sometimes the logo is complemented by a stylized white flash, placed whether around the first “C” or in the middle part of the wordmark. In this case, the logotype is placed on light blue and looks crispy and modern.
The custom italicized typeface of the Crest visual identity is smooth and sophisticated despite the thickness of its letters lines. The font looks similar to Indecise Expanded Semi Bold Italic, but with some contours modified.
The traditional tricolor of the Crest logo is a representation of the brand’s professional approach and responsibility, but it also symbolizes the white teeth and freshness, which the brand’s products tend to give to their customers.
