The Rojos del Águila de Veracruz team started play in 1903. It’s one of the founding members of the Mexican Baseball League. Its mascot is called Junior.

The name of the team means “Veracruz Eagle Reds,” so the fact that the eagle is the focal point of the logo is only natural. The creature is standing on a baseball bat inside a large “A.” There’re five stars above its head.
